[Note: subscriber bonus reviews are NOT eligible for Rotten Tomatoes linkage.] In the case of Idiocracy, I reviewed it when it initially came out, but a lot has changed since 2006.

It's become common in many corners to say that Idiocracy, the Mike Judge satire about a regular guy (Luke Wilson) awakening from suspended animation into a future in which everybody is stupid, is the first comedy to end up becoming a documentary, but I don't think that's accurate. I actually wish it were. Idiocracy began as a comedy, became reality, and has now become aspirational.
